For most teenagers, the COVID-19 pandemic has thrown a wrench into their part-time work plans. Fortunately, just because you’re still in school doesn’t mean you can’t work remotely, and online work for teens is now more common than ever. There would be many different online jobs for teens, but we are specifically looking for those that are most flexible according to the student’s schedule and have the lowest barrier to entry.
Top Teenage Online Jobs:
Network control
When many parents educate their children for the first time, there is a huge demand for mentors. Select the topic or topics you want and offer the instructor a Facetime or Zoom. You can send flyers in your neighborhood, let your parents give the floor to other parents, or post your services on Facebook.
If you do not want to teach a particular school subject, you can also work as an English language instructor. Apps like NiceTalk (16+) pay you to video chat with people trying to learn English through chat. You can sign in at any time (as long as you can chat with video calls) and accept student requests.
You may be assigned a random student or students may select you from a list of available instructors. The only responsibility is to talk to the students.
You get paid for every full minute you spend talking to students. NiceTalk costs $ 10 per hour. The company only pays through PayPal. While the salary isn’t great, if you have a few extra hours to help a student learn English, it can be a fun way to make pizza money.
Transcription services
If you are a fast embroidery machine, you can easily make money when audio files are written as text.
For those of you who speak foreign languages, there are higher paid transcripts for translators as well.
Rev is one legitimate website for freelance transcripts. There is no age limit and they pay a fixed price of one dollar per minute transcribed.
Let’s do the math. The average speaking speed is 100-130 words per minute and the average writing speed is 40 words per minute. So if writing one minute of audio takes about 3 minutes, you’ll earn about $ 20 an hour. Not bad for a teenager’s first job!
And best of all? The more you write, the faster you get. Not only do you earn more money, but fast typing is a great skill to list on your resume.

Taking surveys online
When I was studying for private equity investors to use Youtube and Myspace. Businesses need to be able to stay up to date on trends, so they pay you when you tell them what’s inside! It doesn’t take that long to complete most queries, and you can take them from anywhere using your phone.
iPoll is one app that pays you for hearing your opinion. You must be at least 17 years old to register.
Like Google Option Rewards, you need to answer short questions about the products and services you already use.
You can earn gift cards to PayPal, the Apple App Store, and Amazon for participating.
If you are under 17 (but over 14), you can sign in to LifePoints instead. Formerly known as MySurvey, LifePoints is a survey site that allows you to earn points by taking surveys, tracking your experiences with a particular product in a “diary entry,” or testing products at home and then giving feedback.
Several online reviews point out that it can be difficult to get an idea of how much a “point” is worth because different studies assign different values to points. For example, one survey may offer a 2,400 LifePoints exchange rate for a $ 24 PayPal payment, while another may give you $ 5 in PayPal once you’ve earned 5,500 LifePoints.

Subscribe to money-making apps
You’d be surprised how many apps cost you just to know what you’re buying and what videos you like.
Swagbucks offers reward points for online shopping, browsing the web, answering surveys, and watching entertaining videos. All of this can be made easier with the mobile app, and anyone over the age of 13 can sign up.

Historically, you have to meet buyers in person to complete a deal. But OfferUp recently added a delivery feature that makes it easier to sell nationwide.
You can also use the OfferUp program to buy items cheaply and then turn them over for a profit.
Poshmark provides users (over the age of 13) with a list of its products on the website. Once you’ve logged in to your account, click a photo of the product you want to sell, add a description, and set a price. The app even lets you organize parties so you and your friends can list similar items together. Poshmark will deliver the box and postage free of charge! There is no charge for listing products, but when you sell them, there is a $ 2.95 fee for items under $ 15 and a 20% fee for products over $ 15.

This strategy will take some time and you need to build your personal brand in order to increase your subscriber base. There are 5 ways to make money on YouTube, and each has specific eligibility requirements:

Become an Instagram Influencer
If you decide to set up a YouTube channel, you may want to use Instagram as part of your strategy. You can also make money on Instagram alone.
The most important thing is followers: If you get enough followers, you can become a brand ambassador or affiliate with companies. Some programs pay a one-time fee per point of shipment, or others are under construction with ongoing revenue for the duration of the contract.
But the most common way they pay you? Free stuff. It takes a lot of time and followers to actually start making money. When I first found 100,000 followers on Instagram, the ‘offers’ I received were ridiculous.

Start a Twitch account
Twitch pays you for playing video games. Yes, parents, it’s a real job now. More specifically, you will be paid money if enough people want to watch you play games.
Twitch players stream their videos as they play, and those who watch them donate money directly, buy subscriptions, or watch commercials.
The player with one of his biggest followers, Richard “Tyler” Blevins, said he will report $ 5.4 million in 2018.
